U.S. Open 10-Ball Championship Day 1 Results

Upsets abounded in day 1 of the U.S. Open 10-Ball Championships, with big name ladies and pool legends taking a beating.

14 year old Brendan Crockett won 9-6 over 2009 Player of the Year Jasmin Ouschan
Kelly Fisher lost 9-0 to Marcus Chamat
Jennifer Baretta lost 9-6 to Edwin Montal
Daryl Peach won 9-5 over Adam Kielar
Pool legend Earl Strickland triumphed 9-3 over Kenichi Uchigaki
Pool legend Alan Hopkins suffered a hill-hill loss to Jeff Jiminez
Vivian Villarreal racked up a win for the ladies 9-8 over Ken Shuman
Efren "The Magician" Reyes cruised to a 9-3 victory over Bobby Weimar
Newly-crowned World Pool Master Dennis Orcollo defeated Raj Hundal 9-4
Roberto Gomez won out over Imran Majid 9-2
Liz Ford cruised to a 9-6 victory over James Baraks
Johnny Archer won a hard-fought battle against James Roberts 9-7
Rodney Morris narrowly beat out Jayme Goodwin for a hill-hill win

Day 2 play begins at 11 a.m. Early matches include: Tyler Edey vs. Ronnie Wiseman, Chris Melling vs. Oscar Dominguez and Thorsten Hohmann vs. Kim Davenport.
