Van Boening Crowned U.S. Open 10-Ball Champion

After a six day battle between a field of 96 players from 10 countries, U.S. favorite Shane Van Boening beat out Spain's David Alcaide 11-6 to win the title.

This has been a red letter year for Van Boening after his first place win in One Pocket, second in 9-Ball and Master of the Table honors at this year's Derby City Classic; and 9th place ranking in the 2011 World 8-Ball Championship.

Efren "The Magician" Reyes Pulls Out A Magical Win, Crowned U.S. Open One Pocket Champion

It was a magical run at the 2011 U.S. Open One Pocket Championships for Efren "The Magician" Reyes. Reyes went undefeated through the full 64-player field to grab the championship title. Reyes beat out poker star Chris Gentile 5-2 in the finals.
