2011 PartyPoker.net World Pool Masters Field Announced

The 2011 PartyPoker.net World Pool Masters will be held from Saturday, September 3 through Monday, September 5th in Metro Manila, Philippines. The 16-player field will feature past and present US Open winners and popular past Masters Champions vying for the top $20,000 prize.

World Pool Masters Day 2 Results

Day 2 of the World Pool Masters saw 16 players eliminated, while 16 more players places were ensured slots in Friday's round of 32.

World Pool Masters Starts Tomorrow; PCG Sponsoring Live Scoring @ AZBilliards.com

The 2010 PartyPoker.net World Pool Masters starts tomorrow and will run through Sunday, May 16, at the Riviera Hotel & Casino in fabulous Las Vegas.

Eight groups of eight players will be competing in a race-to-nine, double elimination play to whittle the 6-player field down to 32.

Groups 1-4 will play on Wednesday on eight tables; groups 4-8 will play on Thursday. The Masters will then move into single elimination on Friday. The televised portions will take place starting Friday evening.

The prize fund is set at a guaranteed $100,000, with $20,000 for the champion.
