Yalin Women's World Championship - Day 1

48 of the greatest women players in the world started day 1 of the Yalin Women's World 10-Ball Championship in Manilla, Philippines. The main event will run October 25-29 at Robinson's Galleria (host hotel and televised matches) and Nuvo City Lifestyle Center in nearby Quezon City (non-televised matches).

Iris Ranola (Philippines) vs. Veronique Menard (Canada) 6-2
Jasmin Ouschan (Austria) won her first two matches
Koreans Ga Young Kim, Yu Ram Cha and Eun Ji Park all went undefeated
