Congratulations Lucasi Hybrid All American Tour 31st Stop and Two-Time Tour Winner Ike Runnels!!



The 31st stop on the 2009-2010 Lucasi Hybrid All American Tour (produced by the American CueSports Alliance – ACS) was hosted on February 20 in West Dundee, IL, at Hammerheads Pool Bar. The $500 added “Shark Attack 8-Ball Tournament” showcased 40 players in a double elimination handicapped format on 7-foot Valley bar boxes.

Two-time Tour winner Ike Runnels (Kankaee, IL), ranked a "7" on a regional handicap system, continued his hot hand by finishing off the A-side bracket undefeated. In the final rounds of the B-side, Tommy Hernandez (Glendale Heights, IL) [6] ended Billy Jones (Bartlett,IL) [4] run at 5th place by a 6-2 margin, where Jeff Cox (Naperville, IL) [4] joined Billy as a result of a 1-6 loss to Alan Friedrich (Fox River Grove, IL) [6]. Hernandez then eliminated Friedrich at 4th place 6-3. In the B-side finals Eddie Balderas (Palatine, IL) [5] took out Tommy Hernandez [6] 5-5. The tourney finals was all Ike Runnels [7], as he dominated Balderas [6] in the first set for a 7-2 title win!

Lucasi Hybrid All American Tour sponsors include: Pool Cue Guru, Lucasi Hybrid Cues, Championship Billiard Fabric, Nick Varner Signature Cases and Billiard Gods Productions. All entries in the Tour are also entered into a drawing in January for a $1,000 Lucasi Hybrid Cue.
